My approach
I believe everyone has a talent, gift, or as I like to call it a "super-power". My super-power is finding the story within every performance, performer, and writer. I offer a variety of performing arts classes and performance opportunities for students age 5-18. As the artistic director at Northwest Theatre Lab, I direct students in musical theatre productions and teach in-person classes in, acting, voice, and stage craft. Online I educate students in a variety of performing arts classes, camps, and even creative writing courses on the Outschool platform. I also provide individual vocal lessons to students both in-person and online. I am excited to discover the super-power of each student!
Providing you with a safe space to learn
Northwest Theatre Lab provides both virtual and in-person productions. Your rehearsals will take place either in-person at the Bonney Lake location, or online through Northwest Theatre Lab’s virtual Zoom rehearsals. Online learning will take place in a Zoom meeting through the Outschool platform, or private individual lessons will take place in-person in Bonney Lake, or in an online Zoom meeting with access to a personal studio! This studio provides you with all your vocal materials at your finger tips.
In-person and remote options
My studio is conveniently located in Puyallup. Can’t make it into the studio? No worries – I’ve got you covered with online learning.

“MY KIDS HAVE WORKED WITH JEN THROUGH ACTING, THEATER, AND VOCALS FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS…
…Walking into this environment with limited experience, Jen immediately made them feel comfortable and valued, encouraging them to open up and not be afraid to explore and create with body movement and voice. She is wonderful at seeing the potential in each and every student she works with and knows how to push them just enough to keep them growing and loving what they are learning.”
